  • Vidhana Soudha:

This magnificient building one of the known landmark in Bangalore was built in 1954 by Shri. Kengal Hanumanthaiah who was the Chief Minister of Mysore in those days. This is built entirely based on Neo Dravidian Style and consists of 22 departments and 300 rooms. Today this building is the house for the Legislative Chambers and the State Secretariat. It consists of four domes on all the corners and in the main entrance one can find a four headed lion which symbolizes our Inidan Soverignity. Also one can see the saying carved on the main entrance " Government's Work is God's Work". The Building is open for visitors only after 3 'o clock in the evening. This is one of the proud assets of Bangalore.
