  • Nandi Hills:

Situated at an height of 1468m above the sea level & at a distance of 60 km from bangalore towards devanahalli is the nandi hills. It was one of the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. Tipu's Drop, a 600 metre high steep hill, where prisoners were thrown with violence down the steep hill is an excellent sight to see here. Apart from this place there are temples dedicated to Sri Ugra Narasimha and Sri Yoga Narasimha on this hill. There is a Traveler's Bungalow also present on the top of this hills.
