The Mysore Palace, the residence of woderyars (who ruled the mysore state) was built in 1912 in indo-Saracenic Style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades. This palace is located in mysore which is 140 km from Bangalore. This palace is now converted into a museum where the paintings, jewellery, Royal costumes, The Golden Royal Elephant Throne & other valuable items which were owned by wodeyars are displayed. This palace was actually built of wood which got burnt down in 1897 and was rebuilt in 1912. The walls inside the palace are painted with the dassera processions. There are many
