This is one of the famous gardens
in Bangalore city which was laid down by Lord Cubbon in the
year 1864. This park is located across Vidhana Soudha in the
heart of Bangalore strectching over an area of 300 acres.
The garden has beautiful lawns, flowering trees and is a delight
for joggers, walkers of Bangalore. This park also has recereation
and amusement park for children also known as Nehru Park or
Bal Bhawan. The main attraction for the childrens in Bal Bhawan
is the Mini Train which runs from Tuesday to Sunday from 10
am to 5pm. The entrance to Cubbon park through Vidhana Soudha,
lies 2 most prominent buildings which are the State Central
Library and the High Court which increases the beauty of the
park. Apart from these 2 buildings, the park also has institutions
like Cheshire Dyer Memorial Hall, Ottawa Chatter and a Museum.
It is a treat for the eyes for all nature lovers.
