Big Banyan Tree:

The Big Banyan Tree or (Dodda Alada Mara) is one of the favourite picnic spot for people in and around Bangalore. It is located in a small village called Ramohalli which is 28kms west from Bangalore on Mysore Road. The main attraction of this tree is that it spreads itself over nearly four acres through its vertical roots. The most exciting thing is the age of the tree which is said to be around four hundred years old. It is a good place of outing on a calm sunny day.
